Seventh Annual Burlington Riverfront Jazz Festival
The 2007 edition of the Burlington Riverfront Jazz Festival will take place on Friday evening September 7th, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM with the Jazz Walk along High Street in Burlington City followed by the Grand Festival on the Riverfront Promenade on Saturday September 8th beginning at 3:00 PM.
Both Events are free to the public although donations are solicited and greatly appreciated.
High Street Jazz Walk
On Friday evening the Burlington Riverfront Jazz Festival kicks off on High Street in Burlington. You can walk up and down the street and watch two live stages of Jazz at either end of High Street between Broad St. and the river. In between sets, walk from one stage to the other and on your way sample the fine menus of the fine, bistros, cafes and restaurants along the way. You can catch Burlington Riverfront Jazz Festival performers with David Thomas May & Friends live and in concert.
BURLINGTON RIVERFRONT JAZZ FESTIVAL
Then starting at 3:00 PM and going till 8:30 PM on Saturday, September 8th down at the Riverfront Promenade the 2007 Burlington Riverfront Jazz Festival will continue with D-FOR, The dtmPROJECT, Brother E. Clayton West and Philadelphia sax sensation, Andrew Neu.
D-FOR will start things off at 3:00 PM. Then The dtmPROJECT will perform from 4:15-5:30 PM followed by Brother E. Clayton West from 5:45-6:45 PM. After that, starting at 7:00 PM, performing hits off of his critically acclaimed CD In Clear View, which is now playing on over 80 radio stations nationally and ranked in the top 10 on the independent charts and features Brian Bromberg, Dave Weckl, Doc Gibbs, Jeff Lorber, Gerald Veasley, and the Bright and Tight Horns will be Andrew Neu.
